Railing Styles

At Deck-Pros, we use the finest grade materials available. Our deck frames are constructed from pressure treated pine. This lumber is very strong and is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 40 years from rot or insect damage. We cover the exterior deck joists (the boards that support the decking) with material to match the decking or railing. This hides the green pressure treated lumber.

4×4 Post Raised Rail

This rail uses 4×4 support posts, 2×2 spindles and 2×4 horizontal rail. Optional caps add style to this railing. Virtually all the fasteners are hidden.

6×6 Post Colonial Rail

Larger 6×6 posts are used on this railing to give it a more “substantial” feel. This particular rail is made of painted Cedar with an Ipe top rail. This railing also employs hidden fasteners for a clean finished look.

Tempered Glass Rail

This design uses tempered glass inserts to permit an unobstructed view. The glass is shatter-resistant like the type used in sliding-glass doors.

Synthetic Rails

There are many synthetic rails from which to choose. We offer railings from TimberTech, Trex, Azek and a few others. These rails are available in many different colors and textures.

Deckorators Balusters

Deckorators balusters are powder-coated aluminum. They can be paired with wood or synthetic lumber. The centerpieces are optional.
