Ipe Deck with Pergola

This beautiful Ipe deck is located in Raritan, NJ. Ipe (also called Brazilian walnut, Ironwood or Pao Lope) is one of the densest and hardest woods available. These properties and a beautiful knot-free appearance make Ipe a premium wood for deck construction. A small pergola was added so the client could grow vines to shade the deck.
